dude, so speaking of selves and fish- there is this crazy girl at work and she is 4 and totally whacky and my heart almost broke today because she visited the older class room and wouldn't use the bathroom because it was decorated with fish. she was terrorfied of the fish- she almost cried and asked me to take them off. so i escorted her to the potty across the room. it seriously is upsetting because her caretaker isnt getting her evaluated and she needs to be. the woman obviously knows that she bugs out at school because this morning as she came in samantha apparently was overwhelmed and fell to the ground in a tantrum. when her "mother" (her real mom is in an institution) held out her hand to help her up, she jumped up and ran to the wall where she persisted in hitting her head against it. then she tore toys of the shelf and ran screaming around the room. i am glad i wasn't there for that one.i don't think i could bear watching taht child have another episode. i told you i was selfish
