so yea, like modest mouse says, it takes shit to make life bliss- and listen to this day i had yesterday---


shit- hit by a chainsaw kinda randomly (i mean, it didn't drop down between a flight of stairs like in AMerican Psycho, that would be pretty random. it's just random being that one doesn't expect to ever be hit by a chainsaw when walking along a
walking path) on my way to the dining hall.

shit-
my computer is totally and violently infected by trojans i got while looking for images for a class assignment. fuck.

shit-
my prof wouldn't let me make that exam up so i had to take it.

after 6 years of incessantly listening to their albums, i got to see MODEST MOUTHERFUCKING MOUSE live. it absolutely was amazing! god, seriously. muuch better than i expected and i expected to be floored. my only (and this is very slight) dissapointment was that they only played from two (their most popular) albums (with some new stuff which seems pretty cool) although doing the cockroach slipped in there.

i saw my dear friend Lori Drago at the show!!!!
she also had a really good eat on this big wooden thing that didn't seem to have a use but it was all the way in the back behind the bar and when they played we stood on it and had optimal viewing.
got a little nostalgic cause we were talking about highschool and when and how we were fist sexposed to the band (Thank you, Erin Black!) and i got to thinking about my lovely Black friend and how i miss her so much (i believe she is in London for a short time now before heading off to South Africa)


Fucking A. it was so good i can't even tell you.
my little body was dancing more spastically than ever, it was great. i had so much fun. i really actually like going to concerts sober (if i like the band enough). i can't wait til i can just have them play in my living room. and i'll be like, "yo, don't play any of your last album. cool. yea, play cowboy dan again. ok, play an entire set of cowboy dan. great."

ahhhh,
so seriously, i am in a state of bliss.
sigh.
