note- Freddy's Nightmares- Wikipedia tells me that Brad Pitt was in the series, too. the series based on the Nightmare on Elm Street movies -is my new favorite tv show.
one would think they would film it like a movie ( i am not sure how new that concept is, though) but for the most part, they would shoot two person scenes like a sitcom- the doctor's office is in what looks like a high rise. i've only seen bits and pieces of it so i am not too sure what it's about besides the fact that Freddy isn't really in every episode. Freddy hosts antics that happen to happen on Elm Street. Robert Englund- the Rod Serling of the 80's?

there are 2 stories in one episode and the first one involved a girl who can control her life in her dreams. her mom died in a car accident and she remembered her mother's death years later in her dreams. the dream kept changing, and in one instance her friend Jill got hit by the car.
Amy: "Jill is my best friend, right? So that means I should know a lot about my best friend, right? When I went to see her, she answered the door and was in a wheelchair. I asked her why she was in a wheelchair and she screamed and cried and shut the door."
Dad: "amy, jill has always been in a wheelchair her whole life" GASP.

She then realized she can get her mom back by changing her dream. she got her mommy back, but then... (wait for it)... her DAD was no longer in her life. bum bum buummm


i get to watch friday the 13th series, too because of this network.
